The difference between Builders America, Inc. and other general contracting companies is quite simple.  Builders America, Inc. is a family owned business with two State licensed general contractors.  One of the owners is a code certified building inspector and the other is a builder Remodeler.  

Stan Garnet has been inspecting residential and commercial properties for over 20 years and one of his specialties is decks and porch enclosures.  Understanding how a deck is built and the stages of decay that a deck goes through while it ages is part of Stans' forensic evaluation of existing decks that he inspects.  This knowledge along with the deck building codes provide him with the understanding of how to build decks right.  Stan is also an educator to independent, municipal inspectors and contractors.  He educates about the anatomy of deck construction, teaches  deck building codes and the proper techniques of how to build a safe deck.  Stan's motto, "The house can fall but the deck is not going anywhere when built by Builders America".

Lyle Harp is our builder remodeler and has been building for the  last 20 years and runs the projects for the company.  Lyle is versed and experienced in all aspects of the building process, and he is on site supervising between 5 and 8 build sites at any given time making sure that all of our jobs meet the highest standards.  His goal is to make sure the project is completed as expected and in a timely manner.  Our goal is to keep our customers satisfied.

Stan has a residence in Morgan Estates with corporate headquarters in Roswell Georgia and has decided to bring the porch enclosure business to Lake Oconee.  Their specialty is the 4 track flexible vinyl windows and the horizontal sliding glass and vinyl windows. We are a dealer/reseller for these products and sell our products and services to other builders and contractors. 

Fred Fogel, a resident of Reynolds recently had Builders America install the 4-track vinyl window system on his porch.  He fell in love with the system and instead of purchasing the company he decided to take on representation of the company in the Reynolds market.
