Apply Now for Lewis Cenker Scholarship
Applications from students now being accepted
Do you know a student interested in pursuing a career in the home building industry? Does your local school offer construction classes through their Career Tech pathways or dual enrollment? If so, be sure to spread the word about the Lewis Cenker Scholarship which was created by the Home Builders Association of Georgia in honor of the late Lewis B. Cenker -- an outstanding Georgian and a national industry leader.
The scholarship was initially open only to individual students, but two years ago, HBAG expanded the scholarship criteria to include CTAE programs in high schools across the state to help more students looking to work in the home building industry. Funds for students can be used to help pay for their classes in colleges, technical colleges or universities. The funds for CTAE programs can be used for materials, curriculum, or to send students to competitions such as Skills USA.
